Our Friends At P&D Pet Supply Want To Thank You With Deals, Giveaways And More!
To get the inside scoop on what our friends at P&D Pet Supply are up to, I spoke to the store manager, Sara. When she mentioned a customer appreciation day, I immediately had to know more. After all, many of you (my loyal clients) also shop at P&D located right on 309 in Mountain Top. The event will be taking place at the store at 79 North Mountain Blvd on Saturday, October 2nd. It will last the duration of their business hours which is 9:00am-4:00pm on Saturday. We’ll be talking all about what you can expect from the event that day from deals and discounts, giveaways, raffles and maybe some unexpected surprises.
Giveaways
Who doesn’t love free stuff? I feel this topic is worth mentioning up front because the first 50 people to enter the door are immediately put in a drawing to win a $50 store gift card! Even if you can’t make it there right when the doors open, there will still be plenty of other things they are handing out. You’ll find things like frisbees, treats and food samples just to name a few. They will be giving these free items out all day long or until they run out. Also, there will be plenty of raffle baskets to enter your name into as well. The raffles are completely free to enter and include baskets for dogs, cats and you’ll even find a gift certificate donated by your friends at ParaMount Pet Care! For the horse customers, there will also be a drawing to win free bags of Tribute and Blue Seal Horse feed as well.
Discounts
On Saturday only, everything in the store will be 10% off! There will also be dollars off specific brands of dog and cat food. I will break everything down for you below to make it clear what the deals are going to be:
- Merrick Dog & Cat food: $5 off 4lb, $7 off 10-13lb & $10 off 20lb+
- Petcurean food: $7 off large bags and small bags are BOGO free
- Annamaet treats: all BOGO free
- Stella & Chewy: $7 off large bags
- Nutro Dog & Cat Food: $5 off 5lb, $7 off 13lb & $10 off 30lb
Pet Grooming
The self serve dog wash will be open for use all day while the pet groomer will be offering $5 nail trims all day long! No need to make an appointment for either, just walk right in! Any other grooming services are by appointment only.
Puppies!
You heard me right! P&D has teamed up with one of our favorite rescues that everyone on the mountain knows and loves- NEPA Pet Fund & Rescue! A representative from this rescue will be at the store with puppies that they have available for adoption. If you’re interested in adopting a dog in the near future, you’ll definitely want to come out to this event. This will give you the opportunity to meet your future family member and ask all kinds of questions. Even if you’re not looking to adopt, this is a rescue worth supporting as they are a non-profit, foster based rescue. This means, the majority of the money needed to operate their rescue comes from people like you!
Food
There will be an ice cream truck again this year! Free ice cream will be provided to you by Fidelity bank. There will also be light refreshments provided by P&D including various beverages and hot dogs all available outside the store, grilled up fresh for you!

This is P&D’s second year in a row hosting an event just for you! Why? Because you are the sole reason small businesses like P&D stay afloat. In an age of modern technology and the convenience of shopping online, P&D feels that it is important to say “Thank You” to anyone willing to shop there and give them a chance! Having worked there myself, I know that P&D has a team of stellar employees who are experts in the pet industry and continue to keep up on pet product knowledge to give you the best advice.
