Taking A Look At How To Make Delicious Frozen Cat Treats At Home With Quality Ingredients For An Affordable Price
Most cats love to indulge in a delicious treat. But, in the summertime, the only thing better than a treat is a frozen treat! That’s why we suggest indulging your feline friends with some frozen cat treats this summer. Not sure how to make frozen cat treats? Don’t worry, ParaMount Pet Care has you covered.
The purpose of this article is to share our three favorite frozen cat treat recipes. These recipes are simple, easy to make, and delicious. Your cat will love them and love you even more for making them.
Frozen Tuna Treats
Our first recipe comes from the Pet Health Zone. The ingredients and tools needed are, a can of water-packed tuna, ½ cup of water, a blender or food processor, plastic freezer bag, and an ice cube tray.
The directions are pretty straightforward. Open the can of tuna and pour the contents into the blender or food processor. Next, add water. Then, blend until it’s nice and smooth, adding more water as needed. Afterwards, pour the liquid into the ice cube trays and freeze for several hours. Once frozen, pop the treats out and store in a plastic freezer bag.
Frozen Bone Broth Cubes
Our next recipe comes from Kitty Cat Go. This frozen cat treat is focused on healthy and hearty broth. Most broths for humans contain salt and other seasonings that are not healthy for cats. This is because cats can’t properly digest seasonings and excess salt the way humans can. Thankfully there are broths specifically made for pets! This recipe is very simple. First, pour some pet friendly bone broth into silicone ice cube trays. Then, put the tray into the freezer until the broth is frozen. Afterwards, you will have delicious frozen bone broth cubes! You can pull these from your freezer at any time and place them in a small dish for your cat. Like a popsicle, your cat will be licking this treat until the very last drop is gone!
Frozen Yogurt Drops
This recipe comes from the Phoenix Veterinary Center. This recipe is for cats that can tolerate dairy. The ingredients needed are non-fat Greek yogurt, canned cat food, a plastic Ziploc, parchment paper, baking sheet, and a blender or food processor.
First, add the Greek yogurt and canned cat food into the blender or food processor. Next, blend the mixture together until it has the consistency of a puree. Then, spoon the mixture into a plastic Ziploc bag and snip off a tip of the bag. Afterwards, squeeze little drops of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Then, freeze until solid.
