ParaMount Pet Care is the best professional pet sitting and dog walking company in all of Luzerne County. We offer personal and professional care to every pet we meet and care for. We love pets so much that we decided to make a living out of it based on our compassion and admiration for pets of all kinds. Our dedicated staff of professional pet sitters make it their personal goal to treat every client’s pet as if they were their own. ParaMount Pet Care was founded by Laura Breakstone in 2020 and has been growing and expanding ever since. Laura, a Penn State graduate in veterinary science, realized the high demand for pet sitting services in Luzerne County and decided to turn her passion for animals into a thriving business. Since then (and during the writing of this article), her vision of caring for and loving pets has expanded to over two hundred and fifty people and their various pets. What Services We Offer
What can ParaMount Pet Care do for you and your pets? Just about everything! We offer a variety of pet sitting and dog walking services that are flexible and customizable to best suit you and your pets best interests. For dog walking, we offer both 30 minute walks and 60 minute walks. As previously mentioned, routine dog walking is essential for any dog as it provides both exercise and outdoor stimulation. As for pet sitting, we offer 15 minute visits, 30 minute visits, and 60 minute visits. Our 15 minute visits are mostly for a quick potty break along with providing fresh water and some well deserved love. Our 30 minute visits are the most commonly used service as it offers enough time for not only potty breaks, but also some playtime with your pooch. This extra playtime will help your dog burn some energy and keep them well entertained/behaved for a long while afterwards. We always say “a tired dog is a good dog.” And lastly our 60 minute visits are typically used by pet owners that have multiple pets and/or want their pets to have as much stimulation and personal interaction as possible. Dogs are very social creatures and this is a perfect option for dogs that experience anxiety or stress when they are left alone for long periods of time. We also offer overnight services where one of our professional pet sitters will spend the night at your home and keep your pet company throughout the night. This is a ten hour service and typically runs from 9pm to 7am. These are our primary services, but we offer plenty more!
